Habitat for Humanity Saint John Inc. is now accepting applications for homes to be built in 2005

SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK – September 30th, 2004 - Habitat For Humanity Saint John Region Inc would like to announce that our eighth home is now under construction at 46 Regent Street, East Saint John. Applications are now being accepted for our ninth home to be build in 2005. Applications are not yet available online, but are available at the Investors Group reception desk, first floor of the Mercantile Center, at 55 Union Street.

Criteria for applicants include: the need for adequate shelter, a willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity in the construction process by investing 500 hundred of “sweat equity”, and the ability to repay a long-term, no-interest mortgage.

Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Region Inc., is an independent, non-profit, Christian housing program dedicated to providing homes for Saint John area families in need.
