you looking for a team building activity for your organization
Habitat for Humanity is an International nonprofit
Christian housing ministry that works both to eliminate poverty
housing around the world and to make adequate housing a matter
of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity, Saint John
affiliation is one of over 2000 affiliates world wide. Since
its founding in 1998, Habitat for Humanity, Saint John Region
Inc., has built nine homes in Saint John, including a handicap
accessible house in 2000. The homes have provided decent,
affordable housing at no interest to nine local families who
had met the Habitat criteria. A new project is currently in
development, located at 200 Britain Street as we are building
a home for Will and Carol Last and their four children. This
project is scheduled for completion between November 6 and
December 8, 2006. We would like to know if you would be interested
in forming a team with your company to attend an all day build
session at the proposed 2006 development site. We will provide
all the safety training, supervisions, tools and materials
to complete the work, as well as coffee and lunch !
YOUR ORGANIZATION can make a difference in this year's build
either it be by framing, painting, sweeping, or serving refreshments.
